In 2009 we travelled to australia to attend my brothers wedding, a year later (almost to the day) we returned to attend another wedding. Living in Seattle, means that i miss out on allot of family events back home but this visit was different. Good timing on my best friends part got us back to melbourne to attend a wedding and also celebrate my brothers first wedding anniversary. Pictured below are images from the shoot, which took place on the dining table. Considering the cake was in the freezer for a year, it tasted as good as it looked!

Collin and Stephanie
Our First wedding ever! We drove to Spokane from Seattle, it was a long weekend so we decided to go camping on the way home more on that later. The week leading up to the wedding, weather.com wasn't doing the bride and groom any favors, with the chance of rain and precipitation constantly changing from yay to nay! Thankfully for Collin and Stephanie, the weather held for a picture perfect (no pun intended) outdoor wedding.
Thanks Collin and Stephanie for letting us be part of your special day!

It was windy, overcast and the sun was going down! Light stands were swaying in the wind.... it was cold. Our models arrived in their bright colors and gowns, wearing their partner's jackets. The group was large but extremely cooperative. The first frame was fired, a quick look to the back of the camera revealed the the exact effect i was looking for. Bright colors popping against an overcast Seattle skyline backdrop.
Ed and Karla
Long time friends of ours, Edward and Karla tied the knot last November in Melbourne, Australia. it was an honor to be part of this special day. Also great to get paid time off work! and as a bonus, catch up with family and friends whom i only catch up with via Facebook. The shoot took place in Willamstown, Victoria. And after a brief coffee break, we returned to the alleged proposal site, to shoot some frames as the sun went down.

Don and Kate
Our first shoot of the new year took us to Discovery Park Seattle for Don and Kate's engagement session. Typical Seattle weather forecast, cold and a chance of rain! The rain didn't show up... thankfully! although Don and Kate were ready with with their blue and orange umbrellas! The props and color coordination really added to this shoot and showed the creativity and character of our subjects. It really was a pleasure to shoot! Thanks Don & Kate! you guys totally rocked the shoot! and we wish you all the best for the future.
